2022 MOF Games begin.

The 2022 MOF Games, hosted by Wegmat began last night virtually as the 1st matches of Tic-tac-toe 3×3 and Five in a row. The games were delayed by two days however due to the Wegmat Sporting Administration having difficulty setting up the virtual events. The opening ceremony was released at 9:30 last night where many landmarks of Chicago were shown before cutting to Wegmat Intermicronational Stadium and the nations participating. 14 nations and 32 cyletes are participating this year. There are 12 events this year with 1 interesting new event, speedrunning. It is an event without a tournament and rather any cylete participating will speedrun any game and the average time to complete that game would be divided by the time recorded speedrunning the game to calculate their score. The cylete with the least amount of points would win gold and the other two would win silver or bronze. The virtual Olympics are set to end on 3 June, right before the start of the week-long nationwide sporting event of Wegmat Sportsticia.

Bushwood suddenly becomes Wegmat’s most populous city.

Under post-war reconstruction the Province of Madison announced thay would be accepting residency of those who do not live in the province but do live in Gliffork. On October 23rd both cities of Chloek and Keystone were disestablished (claims were withdrew). The citizens took this package and now legally reside in Bushwood. This influx of residency boosted the population to 13, Paradise City’s population dropped by 2 along with its suburb of Salk which dropped by 3. On October 27th Salk was annexed by Paradise City. Bushwood now claims to be “Wegmat’s New York”.

Bushwood opened new industry, stores and food (of course all these only exist when staffed). Bushwood even opened a theater district.

Bobbygrad wins the IFHL Championship Cup

The Bobbygrad Reds and the Fort Jerome Cultivators faced off on the 26th at Wegmat Intermicronational Stadium. This was the first time the stadium has held an event. Officials from the new Province of Madison worried that the stadium would not be ready on the 26th. However to the the Intermicronational Field Hockey League having little to no fans very few spectators showed up. The Wegmat National Park Agency says that the stadium can fit over 150 people, quadruple the Weg human population. “We are grateful to be the first users of this new stadium” says the Commissioner of the IFHL from Bodwatmi, IR. The stadium hopes to host the National Whiffle Ball League’s Champion Series by the end of October.

“New People’s Alliance” in Chaveleir Union Causes Sudden Transition in Power

On August 24th a new authoritarian party known as the New People’s Alliance was formed. Within a mere week the NPA became the most prominent party within the PUCS. After the switch of 4 assembly member’s party affiliation, the People’s Assembly voted to ban the Chaveleir Communist Party from holding any governmental position. The other 3 assembly members, including President Anna Euclid and Chair of the Assembly, Alex Molokadoy refused to switch party affiliation. After the expulsion of the President and Chair of the Assembly Vladimir Robin became Supreme Leader, transitioning the Chaveleir Union into a dictatorship. Many formal Communist Party members fled to Darkwater, Southern Potwatomi in Wegmat. Others were stopped by Chaveleir police. The Wegmat Ministry of Foreign Exchange condemns the NPA also stating “we thought a dark age was over”. The Weg Prime Minister, Cole Baird has still made no official comment on the NPA government. A brief comment was made to Weimar Premeir that Wegmat will not intervene in any intermicronational domestic affairs. Trade has stopped between the PUCS and Wegmat however no ban has been put in place.

At 4:27 PM G.W.T. Emperor of Rodentia, Edward Oaches signed a surrender document dissolving the Empire of Rodentia. All land and jurisdiction has been given to Wegmat for further distribution.

On March 6th of this year Great Dane Private Forces, led by Edward took over the Rodentian government and started a war in Bobbygrad. The next day the War spread to the Federal Union. Since that faithful day, time and money has been used all to the effort of maintaining Weg independence. All that time and resources used has finally paid off. Peace has been achieved for Wegmat. Long term plans for the future of the Des Plaines Valley have been ready for a long time however the war has put a hault to any such things. Weimar has been the only former Urraca Pact member to not surrender. They have only accepted to stop combat in exchange for the returning of the province of Levare and the occupation of Weimar. However with the breakup of the Urraca Pact and the agreement with Weimar the war if considered over in an overall Liberation Coalition victory as the goals were achieved.

In the limbo time between the handover of Rodentia to Weimar, Cole Baird hopes to reform the Des Plaines Union and to form a Worldwide Organization dedicated to improving and uniting the micronational community after seeing it tear people apart indirectly and directly because of the war.

Negotiations with Weimar end Weimar support on the Hilda and Essef Front

BOBBYGRAD – On May 23rd 2021 the General of the Marines, Landis Young negotiated with a Weimar delegation of the Urraca Pact during this weekend’s cease-fire. Wegmat’s delegation was instructed not to handover any territory that is not currently occupied by an enemy. The Urraca Pact’s delegate, Marshall Greenfield of Weimar attempted to negotiate an end to hostilities if the province of Hilda was handed over to Weimar. As the General refused the negotiations continued stressfully until reaching a final solution that would make Weimar leave the Hilda and Essef front.

Although most of the deal is not disclosed WGB was informed that the US abandoned Bushwood Golf Practice Center in Maywood was to be annexed by a Weimar paramilitary group and that Priory National Park was to be fully annexed by Weimar. Priory National Park at that time was occupied by Weimar’s army. Admiral Emperor Edward Oaches of Rodentia claims that Rodentia will be able to defend itself without Weimar support, however Rodentia will now refuse to assist in Weimar’s defenses. At 5 PM the agreed cease-fire was declared over.

Chaveleir Union bombarded, temporary cease-fire to be called on Saturday for negotiations.

On Saturday the Hilda and Essef Front of the war had moved past Rodentian labor camps in an effort to liberate them. Weg forces fought hard and liberated the camps; where many Rodentians were employed to keep the Urraca Pact war machine going. A cease fire is planned to occur between 12 PM – 5 PM next Saturday to negotiate peace between the Liberation Coalition and Urraca Pact. Although neither side is willing to give up land or surrender it is finally an effort to peace during the conflict. The General of the Marines, Landis Y. will attend the interim peace talks in Bobbygrad. Both the Federal Union and Chaveleir Union know that fighting is likely to immediately continue as soon as the cease fire is declared over. However military officers and leaders agree that this interim peace talk is necessary to at least attempt to co-operate with both sides. Due to the Weg agenda of co-operation between Weimar; the Chaveleir Premier has stated that they will not send any delegation to the conference. The Chaveleir goal currently is to liberate the Rainbowlands and end the Urraca Pact attempts at a fascist Des Plaines Valley.

Rodentia’s Imperial Navy in response to that statement sent a fleet to naval shell the Chaveleir coast, Philmont did the same. On Monday Philmont’s Army Corp and Rodentia’s Imperial Naval Infantry launched a second ground invasion on the Chaveleir Union. They captured Rosemont Bridge, a newly constructed bridge spanning the Des Plaines River. The force of Rodentian and Philmont forces have reached a heavily defended line 5 Acreds outside the border of the Outer Lostcow Province. Weimar’s Heer has shown interest in assisting the Rodentians and Philmontians. The Chaveleir People’s Army has stated that there is no way Lostcow will fall to foreign fascist powers. Wegmat is likely to intervene on this front to defend the city of Lostcow. The Chaveleir Union has sent 2 divisions into the city of Dammit as a worrying amount of evidence suggests an Urraca Pact landing of the city.

Weimar has built up it’s military strength in incredible speed over the past 2 months. Weimar is planning to invade Hilda although Rodentia stating interest in annexing the province. Wegmat May introduce conscription in order to defend the cultural heartlands of Essef and Hilda.

Rodentia Overthrown!

Today on 5 March the Republic of Rodentia has been overthrow by Edward Oaches and his army. The Republic is now known as the Empire of Rodentia. Edward has declared martial law and will likely make former NWR Leader, the President or General of the Armed Forces. The Wegmat Border Police has already sent multiple units to the Isadora and Evansville areas to defend.

Edward has announced that he will get rid of socialism in the community and has already declared war on the New German Autonomous Province of Wegmat, Bobbygrad has already been captured by Rodentian Forces that lived in Bobbygrad. Edward says “The socialist powers in the Rainbowlands must leave within 30 days or we’ll make you leave, and the homeland countries of the Chaveleir Union and Wegmat mush remove socialist parties or face future consequences. If war must happen we wont stop at anything.”

All Visitors from the PUCS and Wegmat have been banned from entering Rodentia. Former President of Rodentia, Sinlo Chambel has been evacuated to an Air corp base in Prarik and has been sent to the city of Two Pine. The Wegmat Marines have already reported Rodentian Army mobilizing defensive positions across the Des Plaines River.

Riots breakout in Sycamore after Prime Minister proposes unconstitutional motion.

Today the Prime Minister and some members of the Council of State took a sled and ski trip to Devils Hill National Park in Sycamore, Levare. Upon hearing this tourists began to harass the Prime Minister and Governor of Gliffork. The Wegmat Mountain Patrol tried to make the protesters leave however the protesters did not.

Pro-Prime Minister counter-protesters arrived and began befriending anti-Prime Minister protesters. The anti-Prime Minister protesters later switched sides. The Prime Minister was evacuated to a undisclosed military installation in either Southern Essef or Levare.

When the riots on Devils Hill broke up a filming crew from “SketchyAss Bullshit” began filming snowboarding and sledding on the mountain. The riots continued in Sycamore unrelated to politics and mostly consisted of tourists fighting other tourists with snowballs. The riots were naturally dispersed.

The Prime Minister continued his ski trip and even guest starred in the pilot episode of SketchyAss Bullshit. The Prime Minister, Cole B. and Minister of Environment, Clayton B. were taken back to Two Pine in the state car while Minister’s Ian and Xander went back to Xavier, Gl.

Geodes found in the Inland Valley

Far out north in the Weg frontier in Irving lies the Inland Valley. On the last day of the “Robinson or bust expedition” the team found a large rock deposit away from the River. Its is guessed that they are more rocks below ground.

Wegmat National Geography Club has said that the area “is of no natural significance”. Weg companies have already requested permits from the Irving Government to begin excavating.
